The Kindergarten Program at RBS is well structured and emphasizes readiness and a hands-on approach to academic subjects. The curriculum is presented from a Christian perspective.

In addition:

  • Your child will learn to assume personal responsibility in an environment of loving discipline.
  • You and your child can develop an individual and personal relationship with your child’s teacher.
  • Your child will be challenged to develop a high moral value system through the character-building curriculum.
  • Classrooms are self-contained with a ratio of one teacher to approximately 20 students.
  • Your child will be in a traditional classroom for strong, well-rounded academic instruction in subjects such as Bible, letters and sounds, beginning reading, numbers, penmanship, heritage studies and science. The 5-year-old students will also have extracurricular classes taught by professional specialists.
  • Your child must be 5 years old by August 31 to qualify for enrollment. Testing is required for admittance.

Bible: Chronological and topical study of the Old and New Testaments. Units include lessons on the Bible—creation; the lives of Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses through Jonah, and the life of Christ, with special units on prayer, missions (Paul) and Thanksgiving. Bob Jones, Publisher
