When delivering a student to precare, parents need to walk the child to the designated room and sign in with the teacher. When picking up a student from aftercare, the person authorized to pick up the student must enter the five-digit ID number into the computer to sign out at the designated location before the child is released.
Please note that when there is a delayed school start due to winter weather, precare also starts at a delayed time (1-hour delay = 7:45 am precare; 2-hour delay = 8:45 am precare). When school is dismissed early due to winter weather, there is no aftercare provided. After a 30-minute grace period from the dismissal time, parents are charged the late fee for each 15 minutes until the child is picked up. Parents need to be aware of approaching winter storms and listen for reports on Prince George’s County Public Schools. RBS follows their recommendations concerning winter weather delays and closings.
Please contact the school office with any questions or concerns.
