Cash, Check & Credit Card Contributions
Cash and checks are always graciously accepted as well as gifts made by credit card. Checks should be made payable to Riverdale Baptist School and mailed to 1133 Largo Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774. Credit card gifts should be called in to 301-249-7000, ext. 116, Mrs. LeHew or ext. 118, Mrs. Helsel.
Gifts of Appreciated Real Estate
Under certain circumstances, Riverdale Baptist School may accept gifts of appreciate real estate. By making a gift of a residence, farm or vacation home, you may avoid capital gains taxes and receive a charitable deduction for the full market value of the property.
Gifts of Retirement Funds
If you are already well positioned for retirement and more interested in tax relief now, this option may allow you to transfer a portion of your IRA fund to Riverdale Baptist School and realize positive tax advantages.
Planned Giving
Planned estate gifts are very important to the future of Riverdale Baptist School. There are a number of options for creating a planned gift in your estate, including charitable remainder trusts, gift annuity trust, outright bequests and life insurance.
