Semester 1

This course is designed to help students learn about various financial decisions they will be faced with in life. Some of the topics to be covered include: budgeting, savings, investments, insurance, and debt. This course will be built around Dave Ramey’s Foundations in Personal Finance high school curriculum.

Semester 2

Students will explore the fundamentals of economics and why it matters for each individual in society to entire nations.  It explores scarcity, supply and demand, trade, navigating the market, and the value of wise decision making for long-run growth.
