Thank you for your interest in Riverdale Baptist School. RBS has a long and storied history serving Maryland, DC, and Virginia families for the past 50 years. RBS provides an excellent, biblically-based education to students in grades from pre-kindergarten through the twelfth grade.

Admissions Policy

RBS strives to partner with Christian families who wish to provide a balanced educational program for their children. Educating not only the mind but the body and soul with excellence in the spiritual, academic, physical, and social aspects of learning. The curriculum at RBS centers around the Word of God and seeks to augment the lessons taught in a Christian home. Our admissions process is designed to help parents/guardians and RBS ensure that we will be an effective, goal-oriented partnership. RBS seeks to ensure that the message of Christ is taught and modeled in the home, the school, and the church.

Web-Based Application

RBS uses a digital, web-based application exclusively. This process is safe and secure and can be done at home or at the school (with appointment). All applications are processed through FACTS SIS.

Application Deadlines

RBS offers exclusive re-enrollment to existing parents for the month of January. Open enrollment for the next school year begins in February each year. Rolling enrollment for the existing school year is available until the last month of school.

What Do You Need to Apply?

- A completed online application including paid application fee ($250, non-refundable)
- A photocopy of the student's birth certificate
- Official copy of the student's transcript from any prior education

Wait List

In the event your student is placed on RBS's Wait List, we will endeavor to stay in contact regularly. If a seat opens, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Acceptance

Acceptance packets are mailed and students are considered enrolled when all of the following steps are completed:

  • Online application is complete and application fee and testing fee are paid.
  • The enrollment fee is paid (see the tuition page).
  • The parent/guardian completes their account setup with FACTS and FACTS SIS.
  • All applicable health forms are returned to the admissions department.

The Admissions Department is open from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday - Friday.
Summer hours are 9 am to 3 pm, Monday - Friday.
