This course will build on previously learned art skills to further the ability of the artist and deepen their understanding of space within design. It is recommended for intermediate artists looking to expand their skill set and gain an understanding of the principles of design and composition in 3D space. There will be an opportunity to work with both studio and digital formats to create unique dimensional artwork. Grading will be based upon rubrics that take into consideration effort, technical/spatial understanding, and creativity. The course format will include lectures, videos, PowerPoints, hands-on projects, digital projects, and class critiques.
