The mission of Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM) is to help students realize their potential for success in STEM careers by supporting their explorations of STEM-related fields, encouraging the development of critical thinking skills, and providing them with a head start in pursuing their post-secondary education. This course is designed so that students have the opportunity to develop relationships within teams to collaboratively solve problems and develop leadership skills. Hence, the course will not only improve the academic component of the student’s lives but also provide valuable life lessons that can be applied to solve tomorrow’s problems in the real world.
