The student will gain an appreciation for God, the Ultimate Artist, and His design through creation. Students will be introduced to the basics of line, shape, color, texture, and value. They will be graded on their ability to master the following: two-point perspective, shading, optical illusions, lettering, color theory, painting, design, and Art History. It is the purpose of Art 1 to teach the skills students will need to be successful in Art 2.
