Computer Science (JAVA): Amazon Future Engineering Program

This is a full-year Advanced Placement course geared toward 11th – 12th graders who are serious about programming. Java requires a strong mathematical background along with strong problem-solving skills. Students will learn to design and implement computer programs that solve problems relevant to today’s society, including art, media, and engineering. This course will prepare students for the Advanced Placement Exam, Level A.
By selecting an Advanced Placement course, scholars are required to take the national AP exam for that course which is administered in May. The cost of each AP exam is $97.00.
